Watonga Moves Forward

Just in time for spring! The new clubhouse at the Watonga City Course already has customers. Course Manager Greg Despain and wife Julie are pictured with a group of early bird golfers.

The new facility features 2400 square feet of golfer's services. The carpeted lounge area also has a snack/dining area. The covered patio will also have seating for about 30 patrons. Construciton of the new golf course storage building will soon be completed.

The final "walk through" on the new bio tower should wrap up within the next couple of weeks. This huge waste water treatment enhancement came with $469,000 price tag.

Financing for the project was a result of a CDBG grant, Cheyenne Arapaho contributions and city funds. Completion of this project puts the city of Watonga in compliance with D.E.Q. standards.
