Bonnie Potee Hunter was born August 4, 1933 at Winamac Indiana to Edgar and Delta Carroll and passed away Friday March 24, 2006 at the age of 72.

She was a resident of the Watonga community for 17 years where she was a wife, mother, grama and a baker for everyone.

Bonnie was married to John Hunter for 33 years.

She was preceded in death by her 2 sons Shawn Hunter and Darrel Potee, grandson Scott Ramberg, brother Bob Carroll, her parents Edgar and Delta Carroll, and first husband Ron Potee of 17 years.

 

She is survived by

     her husband John of the home,

     2 sons Bob McDonald of Tacoma, WA and Lance Hunter of Albuquerque, NM.

     4 daughters, Linda Burpo of Watonga, Dale Ann Dodson of Crown Point, IN, Cindy Rice of Watonga, Charlotte Sawyer of Watonga,

     18 grandchildren

     14 great-grandchildren

 

Funeral services for Bonnie will be held Tuesday, March 28, 2006 at 10:00 am at the First Baptist Church in Watonga, OK with the Rev. Carle King officiating.  Burial will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Watonga, OK with Wilkinson Mortuary in charge of arrangements.  Memorial Contributions may be made to the Blaine County 4H through the funeral home.
