Donald Hursh

       

                                           Donald Hursh was born November 17, 1924 at Watonga, OK to Paul and Eunice Graham Hursh, and passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at the age of 84.

 

He was a resident of the Watonga community all of his life where he was retires a Tech Sergeant from the United States Air Force after 22 years. He attended Watonga Schools. He attended the Watonga Christian Church and was a member of the American Legion and the Wheatheart Family. He married Margie Threlkeld at Watonga, OK on December 10, 1971.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 daughter Linda.

 

He is survived by his wife Margie of the home in Watonga, OK

 

2 Daughters: Melissa Sanders and husband Tom of Auburn, KS

                              Nancy Hammons of Puxico, MO                         

 

2 brothers: Ted Hursh and wife Pat of Hitchcock, OK

                      Oliver Hursh and wife Sandra of Watonga, OK

 

1 sister: Paula Stanton and husband Floyd of Garden City, KS

 

7 grandchildren: Aubrey, Jill, Michael, Monica, Jeremy, Trevor, and Kayla

 

5 great grandchildren: Zane, Morgan, Logan, Nadia, Raiden, and Talon as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

 

Funeral services for Donald will be held Friday, February 13, 2009 at 10:30 at the Christian Church in Watonga, OK with Rev. David Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in the Watonga, OK with Wilkinson Mortuary of Watonga, OK in charge of arrangements, Memorial contributions may be made to the Watonga Hospital.
