Dale F. Johnston was born March 22, 1928 to Felix & Elizabeth (Cliver) Johnston at Lookeba, OK.  He passed away Sunday, July 9, 2006 at the Binger Nursing Home, in Binger, OK, at the age of 78.  Dale graduated from Lookeba High School.  He was united in marriage to Alice Schimmel July 17, 1948 at Lookeba, OK.  She preceded him in death, July 6, 1999 in OKC, OK. Dale worked for Chickasha Cotton Oil Company, Gray & Chronister Propane Gas & Oil Co., Ft. Cobb Fuel Authority and retired from Davis Oil Co.  He was a member of Lookeba Methodist Church.  He loved to fish & hunt.

 

Survivors Include:

            Three sons, Larry Johnston & wife, Gala, of Lookeba, OK, Donnie Johnston of Lookeba, Bill Johnston of Lookeba; two daughters, Beverly Helmuth & husband, Howard, of Lookeba, Christy Johnston, of Lookeba; five grandchildren, Julie Connally of Mt. View, OK, Holly Johnston of Lookeba, Jennifer Bakewell, of Piedmont, OK, Jerad & Stormi Helmuth of Lookeba & Tyler Johnston of Lookeba; six great-grandchildren, Thomas Entz of Hinton, OK, Tindel Garrison of Hinton, Jacob Bakewell of Piedmont, Laryn Garrison of Lookeba, Brooklyn Helmuth of Lookeba & Calli Connally of Mt. View.

 

Dale was preceded in death by his parents & his wife.
