Edna Evone Choate was born February 5, 1946 at Geary, OK to Arthur & Velma (Paris) Hicks. She passed away Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2005 , in her home in El Reno, OK, at the age of 59. Edna attended Pleasant Ridge and Geary Schools. She has lived in the Geary & El Reno area all of her life. Edna attended All Tribes Church, Geary, OK and First Freewill Baptist Church in El Reno, OK.

Survivors include:
     two daughters: Tammy Burns & husband, Curtis of Perkins, OK, Angela Carpenter of OKC, OK; one son, Jeff Choate & wife, Debra, Geary, OK
     5 grandchildren; Gordon Otterbine of El Reno; Amy Loyall of Oklahoma City; Curtisy Burns of Perkins; Courtney Burns of Stillwater; Ty Burns of Perkins
     4 great grandchildren; Ma Kenna & Rachel Burns of Stillwater; Cadyn Burns of Perkins and Austin Tur of Oklahoma City
     3 brothers, James Hicks & wife Joyce of Geary; Mack Hicks of Geary, Tommy Hicks & wife Bonnie of Geary and a very special friend & sister-in-law Dorthy Hicks
     3 sisters; Jonee Noyes & husband Harold of Bethany; Norma Carrick of Geary; Eunice Montgomery of California

Edna was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur & Velma Hicks; her husband, Leon Choate, grandson Jeffery David Burns, 1 sister June Lesperance; 3 brothers Leonard "Son" Hicks, Bill Hicks & Oran Murphy.
