Hannah Loretta Evans Hannah Loretta Evans was born February 24, 1934 in rural Binger, OK to Marten L. & Nellie (Berg) Opitz. She passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2005 at Parkview Hospital in El Reno, OK, at the age 71. She was united in marriage to Howard Evans Sept. 8, 1951 at Wichita Falls, TX, two weeks later Howard left for the Korean Conflict and arrived back home on their 2nd anniversary. Loretta graduated from Binger High School in 1952. She was a member of the Binger Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and helped with Vacation Bible Shcool. Loretta loved to play cards, loved to sew, cooking, canning, enjoyed gardening, all kinds of craft work, and visiting with her friends.
Survivors Include: Her husband, Howard Evans of the home, Binger, OK; four daughters, Paula James & husband Joe Edd of Binger, OK, Jan Evans of Hinton, OK, Lori Cart & husband, Jeff of Binger, OK, Allison Taylor & husband, Rodney, of Binger, OK; eight grandchildren, Jason James & Deidra of Piedmont, OK, Holli Stock & Mike of Binger, OK, Lyndsay Potts & Bryant of Hinton, OK, Ashleigh Pingleton of Hinton, OK, Candice Cart, Dylan Taylor, Caitlyn Cart & Tyme Taylor, all of Binger, OK; three great-grandchildren; Hannah, Spencer & Josie Stock, all of Binger, OK; two sisters, Ethlyn Robbins of San Francisco, CA, Elizabeth Lechtenberg, of Ponca City; two brothers, Harold Opitz & John Opitz, both of Ponca City, OK; many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Loretta was preceded in death by her parents, Marten & Nell Opitz & one brother, Bill Opitz.
