Judy Carol Kionute

 

Judy Carol Kionute was born March 7, 1950 at Lubbock, Texas to John & Fay (Davis) Stewart.  She passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2006 at Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton, OK, at the age of 55.  Judy moved to Oklahoma from Jal, N.M. in 1980.  She was united in marriage to Tom Kionute, March 7, 1980 at Kermit, TX.    She owned and operated The Family Restaurant in Binger, OK for several years.  She worked for Borg Warner Computers in Lubbock, TX, and worked for Service Station Construction in Boerne, TX and Houston, TX.  She was a member of the Baptist Church in Eagle Lake, TX. 

 

Survivors Include:

            Her husband, Tom Kionute of the home, Binger, OK, two children, Tammy Smith, of Binger, OK, Kevin Covington & his wife, Angelica, of, Austin, TX, three grandchildren, Ashlie & Tyler Smith, of Binger, OK, Jacob Covington of Austin, TX, one brother, Tommy Stewart & wife, Barbara, of Boerne, TX, two sisters, Charlotte Wilson of Comfort, TX, Joan Leisure & husband, Mickey, of Bullard, TX.

 

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, John & Fay Stewart.

 

Services: Binger Baptist Church, 1:00 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 18, 2006, Binger, OK

Officiating:  Rev. Dennis King & Mr. Raymond Kionute.

Burial: Murray Cemetery, Binger, OK, directed by Turner Funeral Home, Binger, OK
