Loren Colby Tackett was born August 31, 1934 to Alvin and Faye (Stowers) Tackett in Binger, Oklahoma.  He passed away Saturday, January 14, 2006, at his home in Binger, Oklahoma at the age of 71.  Loren graduated from Lookeba High School.  He married Odelene Winchester May 11, 1957 in Lookeba, Oklahoma.  He was a grocery store owner for 29 years.  Loren was very active in many civic organizations including the Rotary Club, Town Board, Fair Board, American Legion post#0201, and was currently serving on the Binger-Oney School Board.  He was a member of the Binger First Baptist Church.  Loren was a U. S. Army veteran.

 

Loren is preceded in death by his parents Alvin and Faye Tackett.

Cobb, OK, Andria Farrow and husband Gary of Binger, OK, and Terry Lisenbery, honorary son, of Binger, OK; nine grandchildren: Colby and Tyson Tackett, Jeramy, Mandy, Leslie and Brandon Tackett, Amberly, and Dakota Reynolds and Garrett Farrow, one brother: Leroy (Cork) Tackett and wife Shirley of Chandler Arizona
