Melvin Alonzo Walbaum
Melvin Alonzo Walbaum was born on May 21, 1915 to Ernest and Clarice Walbaum, in El Reno, Ok. He passed away on November 2, 2006, in Weatherford, Ok, at the Weatherford Living Center at the age of 91. Melvin served as a CB in the United States Navy during WWII. Melvin was united in marriage to Milly Walbaum in 1943 in OKC,OK. After WWII, Melvin lived in Atlanta, GA, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and various places in the eastern half of the US and moved to El Reno, OK in 1980 then later to Yukon, OK. Melvin was a supervisor for Henry C. Beck Corp. for many years. His golf course was his main love and was a very competitive participant with many trophies to show in his home. He was a life-member of the Atlanta Athletic Club. He was also a member of the Reorganized Latter Day Saints.
Survivors Include: Daughter, Carolyn Miller and husband William of Sparks, Nevada, Sister, Cissy Ellison of Calumet, Ok. Nephew, Irvin Ellison, nephew Gene Ellison, nephew, Monte Walbaum, and several grand nieces and nephews.
Melvin was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Clarice Walbaum, his wife Milly Walbaum, brother Jack Walbaum, and brother E.J. Walbaum
