Margaret Duncan was born March 5, 1922 to William W. and Melissa J. (Smith) Garrison in Binger, OK.  She passed away Sunday, October 22, 2006 at the Parkview Hospital in El Reno, OK at the age of 84.  Margaret was united in marriage to Archie Morgan and later married Weldon Duncan.  She owned and operated restaurants and motels in Geary, OK, El Reno, OK, Duncan, OK, and Borger, TX.  She was a member of the Eastern Star in Geary and the Geary First Christian Church.  Margaret loved to Bowl, play Bingo, and her dog Peaches.  Most of all she loved her kids, grandchildren, and her great-grandchildren, and was very anxious on the arrival of her two new great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Garrison and Melissa Crews, husbands, Archie Morgan and Weldon Duncan, one brother, Cullen “Sonny” Crews, and two sisters, Lucille Edgin and Peggy Butler. 

SURVIVORS INCLUDE:

Two daughters, Karen Cowan and her husband Larry of El Reno, OK, and Melinda Morgan and Veronique Mantel of Dallas, TX; one step-daughter, Paula Patton and her husband Alfred of Liberal, KS; six grandchildren, Tonia Ainsworth and Jeremy Turner of El Reno, OK, Brian Ainsworth and his wife Christy of Amarillo, TX, Jamie Renesdiz and her husband Tino of Oklahoma City, OK, Jimmy Cowan and his wife Sheila, and Timmy Cowan and his wife Sandra all of El Reno, OK, and Justin Patton of Mustang, OK; 11-great-grandchildren, three sisters, Coleen Williamson of Escalon, CA, Josephine Carr of Washington State, and Betty Travis of Hope, Ark.

The family would like to thank Grace Living Center of El Reno for their love and care for their mother.
