She was a resident of the Okeene community most of her life where she was a dispatcher and an EMT.  Madeline graduated from from Okeene High School and was a member of the Mennonite Brethern Church in Okeene.

She married Allen Schroeder at Fairview, OK on September 24, 1943.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 brother James Lamle, and 1 granddaughter Katrina Keeton.

She is survived by:
     1 son, Gene Schroeder of Okeene
     3 daughters, Joyce Browning and husband Bob of Pacific Washington, Alana Holsted and husband Bill of OKC
     Carolyn Keeton and husband Bob of Weatherford, OK
     2 brothers, Richard Lamle of Hitchcock, OK, Glen Lamle of Holdenville, OK
     13 grandchildren
     14 great-grandchildren

Funeral services for Madeline will be held Thursday, February 16, 2006 at 10 am at the Mennonite Brethern Church in Okeene, OK, with Rev. Bennet Peters officiating.  Burial will be in the Ebenfeld Cemetery in Okeene, OK with Wilkinson Mortuary of Okeene, OK in charge of arrangments.
