Shelly Parker Pearson was born January 31, 1966 at Sweeney, Texas and passed away Thursday, March 2, 2006 at the age of 40.

 

Shelly was a resident of the Watonga community most of her life. She currently resided in Hydro, Oklahoma where she was a licensed C.N.A. for Maple Manor in Hydro.  She graduated from Watonga High School and attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford. She was married to Robert Pearson, Jr. at Jacksonville, Florida in 1991.  Together they had one son, Robert Stephen "Trey" Pearson, III who was born August 30, 1999.  Shelly loved taking care of her son Trey and her great nephew Wyatt.  She also enjoyed her job at Maple Manor taking care of the people she worked around.

 

She was preceded in death by her mother, Sue Parker and her grandparents.

 

She is survived by: her son, Trey Pearson of the home in Hydro.

     two brothers, Craig Parker of Watonga; her twin brother, Michael Parker of Watonga

     her father, Douglas Parker of Watonga

     one niece, Kelsi Parker of Watonga

     one nephew, Cody Parker of Watonga

     one great nephew, Wyatt Parker Baker of Watonga

     as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

 

Funeral services for Shelly will be held Monday, March 6, 2006 at 3:30 pm at the Methodist Church in Watonga with Rev. Larry Masoner officiating.  Burial will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Watonga with Wilkinson Mortuary of Watonga.

 

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Trey Pearson Trust Fund at the First State Bank in Watonga, Oklahoma or the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation.
