Patsy Imogene Shires was born July 19, 1937 to Willard and Clovie Doss and passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2006 at the age of 68.

She was a resident of the Watonga community for forty years where she was a homemaker.

She attended Greenfield schools and was a member of the First Christian Church in Watonga, Oklahoma.

She was married to Jack Shires at El Reno, Oklahoma on July 5, 1965.

She was preceded in death by her husband jack, her parents and brothers and sisters; Bessie Sims, Georgia Bond, Ruben Doss and Eager Doss.
     one son, Randell R. Neely of Wellington, Kansas
     one daughter, Mya Crothers and husband Burney of Watonga, Oklahoma
     one brother, Fred Doss
     three sisters, Lucille Cook, Gussie Sellers and Violet McKeen
     two grandchildren, Michael Neely of Moore, Oklahoma and Janie Coon of Windfield, Kansas
     two great grandchildren, Jacob and Taylor Neely of Moore, Oklahoma

Funeral services for Patsy Shires will be held Saturday, April 22, 2006 at 2:00 pm at the Christian Church in Watonga with Rev. David Johnson officiating.  Burial will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Watonga, Oklahoma with arrangements by Wilkinson Mortuary of Watonga.
