Pat McLarty was born July 27, 1925 at Okmulgee, OK to Ralph and Carrie Mae Earls McLarty and passed away Saturday April 1, 2006 at the age of 80.

He was a resident of the Hitchcock community since 1943 where he was a Rancher.  He graduated from Okmulgee High School in May of 1943 and that following July he joined the United States Navy where he was a submariner aboard the U.S.S. Sea Dog.  He was a member of the V.F.W. Elks Lodge and was a past board member of the Hitchcock Schools.  He married Dorothy Koop at Okeene, OK on November 27, 1947.  He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Charlene Lovet.  He is survived by his wife Dorothy of the home.
     3 sons: Danny McLarty and wife Pame of Bucklin, KS, Drs. Tom McLarty and wife Carolyn of Mutal, OK, Kevin McLarty of Tulsa, OK
     2 sisters: Betty Jo Hollaman of Okmulgee, OK, Mona Hoehner of Edmond, OK
     9 grandchildren
     6 great grandchildren

Graveside services for Pat will be Wednesday 10:00 am, April 5, 2006 at the Cottonwood Cemetery in Hitchcock, OK with the Rev. Duane Roever officiating.  Wilkinson Mortuary of Watonga, OK in charge of arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Watonga Hospital.
