Robert Brant Johnson, beloved husband, father and friend, passed away in a tragic traffic accident on July 28, 2006.  Brant was born on July 19, 1966, to Lonnie I. and Carla M. Johnson.  He graduated from Putnam City High School in 1984.  He continued his education attending The University of Oklahoma, graduating with a degree in Geology.  Brant began his career working many years for Johnson Wellogging.  In order to spend more time with his family, Brant accepted a position with A.B. International selling JZ Bits.  Brant married Cocia Young on July 26, 2002, and they made their home in Watonga, OK.  February 14, 2003 their daughter, Carlie Johnson was born.  Brant had the kindest and most gentle heart for a man of his stature.  He will be deeply missed by all.  Brant was preceded in death by his father, Lonnie I. Johnson.  He is survived by his wife Docia, daughter Carlie, and Docia's children Ashley, Blaine, and Chelsea.  Brant is also survived his his mother Carla, and his brother Blake and his wife Erin, and their children Bailey and Bret, all of Oklahoma City.

 

Funeral services for Brant will be held Monday, July 31, 2006 at 2 pm at the Christian Church in Watonga, OK with the Rev. David Johnson officiating.  Burial will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Watonga, OK with Wilkinson Mortuary in charge of arrangements.
