Robert (Bob) William Nitzel was born April 15, 1925 at Maysville, Oklahoma to William and Inas Self Nitzel, and passed away Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2007 at the age of 82.

He was a resident of the Watonga community most of his life where he was a farmer and rancher.  Bob attended and graduated from Greenfield Schools.

He was married to Leona Biggs at Okeene, Oklahoma on August 1, 1946.

He was preceeded in death by his parents; one daughter, Beverly; two infant twin boys, Robert and robin; and one infant sister.

He is survived by his wife Leona of the home in Watonga, Oklahoma.
     two sons, Terry Nitzel and wife Harriett of Watonga, and Patrick Nitzel of Watonga
     two daughters, Shirlene Nitzel of Fort Smith, Arkansas and Marianne Wilson of Dallas, Texas
     one sister, Tincy Cowan and husand Hubert of Watonga
     six grandchildren, Ryan Nitzel, Michael Nitzel, Sarah Wilson, Blake Wilson, Nathan Nitzel, Ciara NItzel
     three great grandchildren, Macy Nitzel, Jared Nitzel, Justin Nitzel
     as well as numerous other relatives and friends

Graveside services for Bob NItzel will be held Saturday, Sept. 29, 2007 at 10:00 am at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Watonga, Oklahoma with Rev. David Johnson and Carlas Pixley officiating with Wilkinson Mortuary in charge of arrangements.  Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of ones choice.
