Travis Lee Shane Hagy Travis Lee Shane Hagy was born in Grandfield, OK, May 4, 1941. The son of Charles & Zelphia Hagy, he was the second of three children. He attended school at Victory, located west of Grandfield, through the ninth grade. He finished High School at Grandfield, OK in 1959. Shane attended 2 years college at O.S. U. He met his wife Jill while with the wheat harvest crew of Cecil & Eileen Reynold in 1960. Eileen was the one who gave Travis his nick name ‘Shane’. Shane & Jill were married May 31, 1961 and made their home in and around Hydro. Shane worked several jobs before starting to work for Johnnie Klaassen. There he learned the trade of construction, that he loved and worked at until his untimely accident in May of 1994. Shane loved farming and working with the public. Shane was a member of the First Christian Church of Hydro. He enjoyed grandchildren, his work, farming, traveling, friends, square dancing, camping and fishing. The family would like to thank all of Shane’s care givers for their care and love during his long disability.
Survivors Include: His wife, Jill of the home, Hydro, OK; one daughter, Vickie Daigh & husband, Bruce of Dallas, TX; one son, Darin Hagy & wife Deonna of Colony, OK; five grandchildren, Aleesha Lustfield of Hydro, OK, Jody Lay of Norman, OK, Amber Hagy of McKinney, TX, Shane Hagy of El Reno, OK, Kaci Hagy of Colony, OK; great-granddaughter, Adrien Stone; one sister, Cordelia Nease of Tye, TX; one brother, Dale Hagy of Grandfield, OK; eleven nieces & nephews and their families; two aunts, Grace Box of Frederick, OK & Verna Lee Hagy of Arkansas.
Shane was preceded in death by his parents, Charles & Zelphia Hagy.
