Virginia Ramona (Monie) Gormley
Virginia Ramona (Monie) Gormley was born July 15, 1946 to Doyle and Oletta (Ramsey) Reasnor in Kinta, Oklahoma. She passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2006 at the Mercy Health Center in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 60. Monie graduated from Kinta High School in 1964, she received her Associates Degree from Eastern College in Wilburton and her Bachelors Degree in Social Work from North Eastern in Tahlequah, OK. She was united in marriage to Ron Gormley in 1985 in Stigler, OK. Monie worked as a Social Worker for DHS and had a Farm and Ranch in Kinta. She attended the First United Methodist Church of Geary. Her hobbies included gardening, the outdoors, traveling, the lake place at Eufaula, time with her grandkids, and baking. She was a good wife, mother, and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Doyle and Oletta Reasnor, three brothers, Leo, Jack, and Willis Reasnor, and one grandson, Rowdy Gormley.
SURVIVORS INCLUDE: Her husband Ron Gormley of the home, Geary, OK; four children, Rory Barnard and his wife Karen of Calumet, OK, Misty Brown and her husband Jimmy of Piedmont, OK, Nikki Buckelew and her husband Chris of Naples, FL, and Greg Gormley of Oklahoma City, OK; nine grandchildren, Kaleb Vincent and Dakota Buckelew, Kelsee, Kolton, Kadee, and Kylee Brown, Rebekah Barnard and Haylee and Sarissa Gormley; one sister, Trish Wagnon and her husband Doyle of Enterprise, OK; and many beloved nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
