About the speaker:
In case you don't know, Willamae is one of the many comic character creations of Patti Beth Anderson.  She was honored as one of the platform speakers at the Oklahoma State Evangelism Conference and has entertained with such legends as: Porter Wagoner, Ray Price and astronaut Neil Armstrong.  Patti Beth entertained at Silver Dollar City, the Precious Moments Theater and has been featured performer for over 23 years at the Kountry Kouzins Theater in Grove, Oklahoma.  Mrs. Anderson holds three college degrees including a Masters Degree in Theatre from Pittsburg State University.  She has been a college professor and currently runs her own group travel company "Good to Go with Patti Beth".  She, along with her nineteen-year-old son Caleb Paul and husband, comedy magician Doug Anderson makes her home on beautiful Grand Lake in Grove, Oklahoma where they attend Cayuga Splitlog Mission Church.

This year's 'Ladies Night Out' was hosted by the First Baptist Church in Watonga.  Over 225 ladies from Watonga and the surrounding area attended.

Much preparation went into this yearly event which has been shared by several congregations in Watonga.  Hundreds of cookies in the shape of a shoe were given pink icing and packaged as gifts to the ladies.  Each table had its own appetizers of fruit, cheeses and crackers.

This is the sixth year for 'Ladies Night Out' which began as a 'missed chance' to attend a Beth Moore seminar for lack of tickets.  So the ladies decided to have their own get-together.  This event has grown from a handful of women at the First Baptist Church to 225 women from all congregations in Blaine County.
